GREENSBORO, N.C. – North Carolina A&T pitcher Jennifer Luper pitched a seven-hit, four-run complete game and struck out five as the Lady Aggies completed the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference three-game sweep of Norfolk State with a 7-4 win at the Aggie Softball Complex on Sunday afternoon.
NCAT (29-16, 9-3 MEAC) took an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first, but NSU (16-29, 4-8) went up 2-0 after a leadoff solo home run by Micki Rodriguez (Newport News, Va.) and two consecutive errors that allowed Jacklyn Peaton (Virginia Beach, Va.) to score in the top of the fourth.

NSU got two more runs in the sixth inning on Ashley Archer's (Amelia, Va.) single to left field that scored Jeanette Sauceda (Ontario, Calif.) and Rebecca Barnes (Hampton, Va.), but could get no closer the rest of the way.
Sarah Wittwer (Grand Junction, Colo.) threw one and one-third innings in relief and allowed four hits and four earned runs in the losing effort.
