2015 MEAC Women's XC Results
SMYRNA, Del. – Norfolk State senior
Rachel Webb finished seventh overall to earn All-MEAC recognition on Saturday as the Spartan women's cross country team placed eighth at the 2015 MEAC Cross Country Championships at the Delaware State Outreach and Research Center.
Webb picked up All-MEAC honors for the second time in her career. She finished the 5,000-meter course in a personal-best time of 18 minutes, 41.20 seconds. Webb also placed seventh at the 2013 MEAC Championships.
NSU tallied 216 points. Florida A&M won its fourth consecutive MEAC title with 22 points, followed by UMES and Hampton in second and third places, respectively.
NSU's second-highest finisher was
Fawzia Kheir, who placed 21st in a time of 19:33.80. Spartan freshman
Jermyriah Jones was 59th overall in 22:17.60,
Jazmine Vaughan placed 61st in 22:23.70 and
Charity Wilson was 80th in 24:08.40.
